When importing a customer list via CSV, special characters are consistently corrupted during the process. For example, a customer’s name like "António Mação" is displayed as "António Mação" after the import is completed.
This issue is especially relevant for users who work in languages that include names with special characters, such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and others. It’s important to note that this may not affect users operating primarily in English, as English names typically do not contain such characters.
The problem drastically impacts customer communication. For instance, emails sent to clients contain names with incorrect formatting, which damages professionalism and the overall customer experience (Images below).
It is crucial to underline that this issue is specific to CSV imports. Customers added manually or through the API are not affected, and their names, including special characters, are displayed correctly.
Addressing this issue would significantly improve the software’s utility for non-English-speaking users.
