Initial Google review import time varies widely (seconds → minutes)

Hi Mannie — first off, we really love the platform; it's been a genuine pleasure to build on as we get ready to go live.

One thing we're trying to understand before launch: when a new Google source is connected, the time for its reviews to first appear varies quite a bit — sometimes almost instant (~20 seconds), other times a few minutes. As far as we can tell, it doesn't seem tied to the number of reviews or the time of day.

No rush at all — we'd simply love to understand it so we can set the right expectations on our side. Is this variation expected? Is there anything that influences the initial import speed, or perhaps a way to trigger it (or know when it's finished)?

Happy to share specific examples privately if that's ever useful. Thank you so much! 🙏

    Will depend if it’s sign-in or public access (slower since we need to crawl). But it’s normal we have thousands of syncs in any given minute so it gets queued in the background.

    Expectation is to wait a few minutes if it finishes quicker thats a bonus.

    Quick follow-up to my post above 🙂

    Just to be totally clear: I'm really not asking for any new feature or manual control, and I'd hate for this to come across as a complaint. I know there's a huge amount of careful engineering running behind the scenes, and I fully trust the way you've built it.

    My only aim was to understand the expected behaviour a little better so I can set the right expectations for my own users — that's all. I probably should have framed it that way from the start.

    Honestly, thank you for everything you've built here — it's a brilliant platform and I'm genuinely excited to keep growing on it. 🙏
