Emails sent from our agency account

It is important for us to figure out how to make sure our emails reach inboxes. Emails we send to clients are one side of the story, but emails they send to their customers are even more important. Every end user should use their own provider for emails or use agency email setup? I am waiting for Amazon SES to move my account from Sandbox so I can test it out.
