Dynamic SMS Sender Name (Sender ID)

I would like to propose a feature that allows us to dynamically set the sender name for SMS messages in the EMR software.

This can be achieved using a selector that, when selected, it invokes the dynamic values {organization} or {location} to retrieve the business or location names associated with the review request.

If for some reason the implementation of the location name is not feasible, I would be perfectly fine with using just the organization name…but that’s me.

Character Limit Consideration: Please note that there is a character limit for alphanumeric sender names, which I believe is a maximum of 11 characters. To prevent disruption of current configurations, I suggest that this feature be disabled (or not selected) by default, as many business and location names may exceed this limit.

Fallback Mechanism: To effectively address this issue, I recommend implementing an internal rule: if the dynamic sender name exceeds the 11-character limit, the system should send the SMS with the pre-defined manual Sender Name that has already been set up, which should fit within the 11-character limit.

Thank you for considering this feature request! I believe it would significantly enhance the functionality of the EMR software for SMS communications, particularly in situations where the Sender Name can currently be configured, but not dynamically. Examples include Twilio, Amazon SNS, GatewayAPI, and others that I have yet to set up.
