CDN update broke widgets on customer websites?
I see the reference URLs have changed in the embed code in the customers' website widgets. This may have caused them all to stop working. They simply do not appear or populate anymore. 4 separate websites have been affected, causing us to have to manually update embed codes across all sites.

Can please include the code here? You can make it only visible to admins when posting a comment.
Also this should not be the case as the URLS are built inside the widget itself and the outer code does not change.
It could be just a cache issue.

Yes so both still work since we know many have the old non-CDN URL(s) better to change them but the old ones still work.
I see traffic from your widgets landing on the servers our end so it was working after the CDN was deployed.
This more likely related to the DDOS issue we have been having.
