Bug Report – Sales Intelligence Ranking Logic Bug (Inconsistent Winner Detection)

First of all: Sales Intelligence is insane. Truly next-level work. The UI, the data comparison, the scoring logic — it all feels premium and makes the product stand out.

However, there is one critical logic issue that shows up for this specific lead.

Problem

In the “Market Battle” section, the system shows the headline:

“In the battle for customers there is only one winner.
And right now, that winner is not you.”

But directly below that headline, the report displays Tandartsenpraktijk Haarlem as Rank #1 with a gold card — implying they are the winner.

This is incorrect, because according to the actual data in the report:

• TandZuiver is the real #1
  (45% traffic capture, 100/100 trust score, marked as De Kampioen aka champion)

• Tandartsenpraktijk Haarlem is actually the challenger
  (4% traffic capture, 56/100 trust score)

Important Notes

• This issue does not happen every time. Normally the logic works correctly.

• I tested the exact same lead again 24 hours later, and the bug happened again — same incorrect winner assignment.

• This means the issue is intermittent, but reproducible for this specific business report.

Expected Behavior

• The #1 position should match the actual comparison data.

• If TandZuiver is the champion, the gold “winner” card should be assigned to them.

• The headline should only state “you are not the winner” if the business is truly not rank #1.

Actual Behavior

• The headline says the business is not the winner.

• But the UI incorrectly shows Tandartsenpraktijk Haarlem as rank #1.

• The report’s comparison section contradicts this and correctly shows TandZuiver as the champion.

Impact

• Confusing output for the lead.

• Contradictory data reduces trust in the Sales Intelligence results.

• Potential harm to conversion quality when we send this report via cold outreach.
