Audio Recording Quality in Campaign Form

I am experiencing an issue with the audio recording feature in the campaign form.

When I try to record a video, the audio quality is choppy and

with echo, even when using a headset.
While recording, I can hear the playback of my voice through the speakers, which seems unusual.

However when I record videos using an external service like the Mac PhotoBooth and upload them manually, the audio quality is fine.
