Fresh Way To Send Review Requests (Email + SMS) + Video

We are excited to announce a major improvement on how campaigns are created and managed.


Note:

If you are using the old campaigns you will need to read the upgrade steps below to migrate to the new version.

So what's changed?
The review request campaigns feature has been redeveloped from the ground up here is a list of what's now possible with the new campaigns feature:

  • Combined Email and SMS campaigns (no separate campaigns).

  • Ready-made responsive email templates (no more faffing around with the email editor).

  • Step based message sequences (easily manage when/how additional messages are sent).

  • Record videos to grab customer attention and increase the chance of them leaving a review.

  • Clearer UX to help you and your customers easily setup campaigns. With one-click campaign creation.

  • Track recent activity at a contact and campaign level with more data: opens, clicks, ratings and more...

  • New Send Invites API endpoint.

  • Easy bulk CSV uploads tested with 60k contacts, live upload progress and report post-upload.

  • Customers can easily track credit usage on-page to keep on top of credit spend.

  • Agency level logs (Agency -> Logs) -> Understand why for example you or your customer did not get notifications.

Upgrade guide:
If you don't have any email or SMS campaigns created under the location then you will already have access to the new campaigns. You don't need to do anything and the below can be ignored.

But if you have any existing email or SMS campaigns for the location you will need to follow the below steps to migrate to the new campaigns:

Warning: You will need to delete existing campaigns for both Email and SMS for the location so backup any content and make sure your customers are aware that the campaigns will be removed.

This upgrade is per location (not organization) so a multi-location organization could in theory have a mix of old campaigns and the new version.

It is recommended to migrate to the new campaigns as soon as possible as we will deprecate the old campaigns feature over the upcoming months.

Email Templates (Agency): These will also become redundant as they use the old Unlayer editor within the legacy campaigns. Once all legacy campaigns have been removed within the agencies customer accounts this will automatically disappear from your account.

So just to be clear: Removing the email/SMS campaigns will automatically switch that location to the new campaigns version and you NOT be able to go back.

When will we deprecate the old campaigns feature?
No date has been set yet but the aim is by the end of this year we remove the old campaigns from the platform. We will get advance warning about this so you have enough time to get your accounts migrated.
